Make Your Real Estate Website Accessible to AI Search

Before AI search can use a public real estate webpage, the relevant system must be able to access and interpret it. Start with crawl access, indexability, readable content, and sensible internal links. Technical eligibility creates an opportunity to be found; it does not guarantee inclusion.
Check the foundations first
Google’s AI-feature guidance says a supporting page must be indexed and eligible to appear in Search with a snippet. Its recommendations include crawl access, important information in text, useful internal links, and structured data that matches visible content.
For an agent website, that means your service explanation should exist as readable page text—not only inside a graphic, downloadable brochure, or video. Use descriptive page titles and headings. Give important guides a path from your main content, and check that mobile visitors can use the page comfortably.
Understand OpenAI’s different crawlers
OpenAI documents separate crawler roles: OAI-SearchBot supports search, while GPTBot relates to potential model training. Their robots.txt controls are independent. Allowing search access is therefore a separate decision from allowing training access. Ask your website administrator to review the actual configuration rather than changing every bot rule indiscriminately.
A real estate information-design example
In a November 2025 AWS article coauthored by CBRE staff, CBRE described a property-management search and digital assistant that brings information from multiple sources into a unified experience. This was an internal retrieval system, not an experiment in public search rankings.
The transferable lesson is organizational: disconnected information is harder to use. On your own site, connect your biography, service pages, local guides, and evidence-based case studies so readers can follow the relationship between your expertise and your work.
A practical website check
- Inspect key URLs in your search-console tools for indexing or access problems.
- Confirm that titles, headings, and factual content are visible and accurate.
- Use relevant image descriptions and optimized image files.
- Keep author, organization, and article markup consistent with the page.
- Repair broken links and refresh outdated facts.
Do not buy a promise of guaranteed visibility through a special “GEO schema.” Start with these fundamentals, then use the MYFRND Skills Bank to improve the content those systems and your clients can actually read.
